Spy Wednesday/Holy Thursday Resources
Hello friends!! Blessed Spy Wednesday!
Today I have double posts because the Good Friday Post will take a while to compose. I want to invite all of you to learn and pray with the stations of the cross today. Most of the time the stations of the cross are said on Friday's but you can say them any day!! The prayer involves meditating and reflecting on the fourteen stations of the cross which I will list below. There are lots of different ways this prayer can be done. You can read the stations from a book, listen to them online, or even watch a video of the stations. I will be including an audio version and a read along version in the links at the bottom of the post.
As a Holy Thursday practice, I would encourage you to do small, unspoken acts of service. Don't mention that you did the services, don't draw attention to it, and do whatever you do out of love. (It's not going to feel warm and fuzzy, but it will be nice for whoever you serve) Remember that God washed the feet of those He loved. They did not wash His feet. God became a servant.
I also would like to invite you to attend mass on Holy Thursday. This will be the last mass before the Easter Vigil. (Most parishes have a prayer service on Good Friday where you may receive communion)
On Good Friday I will be posting a reflection from the mission field on the stations of the cross. I hope you all are having a blessed Holy Week!
See you in the Eucharist,
May
